GOLD AWARD

I was honored to receive a Gold Online/Interactive Award for the Kiawah River Blog from the American Advertising Federation in Greenville in 2020. I managed this blog and co-wrote the majority of its articles to provide engaging content that reflected the lifestyle of this Lowcountry master-planned community.

In addition to this award, my team won 6 other gold awards and 2 silver awards overall. I was thankful to take part in winning the Video Campaign (Silver) and Video awards (Gold) for Kiawah River. The best part of this experience was collaborating with my team. I loved sharing and celebrating the victory together!

SILVER AWARD

In 2020, I won a Silver In-House Creativity Award for Email Marketing from the In-House Agency Forum on behalf of the Kiawah River Newsletter, which I managed. I'm grateful for the honor, but more importantly, the opportunities to work on projects I was passionate about!

In-House Creativity Awards recognize creative excellence among internal agencies across 38 print and digital categories including advertising, annual reports, corporate identity, email, events, out-of-home, packaging, publications, sales collateral, social media, videos, and more.

I mastered how to create an email marketing strategy from contact management and segmentation to email deliverability and analyzing email sends. I studied practical examples for building an email marketing strategy that builds trust with the audience. This course inspired me to design more efficient email marketing databases and lead stronger email strategies.

 

inbound marketing

I discovered the fundamentals of inbound, the inbound methodology and the flywheel and learned how to apply them to businesses in this course. The Inbound Certification Course instructed how to run a successful inbound business, from marketing to sales to services.

content marketing

Through this course, I gained insight from international marketing professionals on the fundamentals of content marketing strategy and planning. This helped me introduce a more organized content creation framework for my team through content marketing plan, content compass, editorial calendar and evergreen content map.

 

SEO

Through this course, I gained valuable insights into keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO techniques, and analytics to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic. I gained a comprehensive outlook on search engine optimization strategies and best practices that I could share with my clients.

Google Ads certificates

To help me learn how to navigate and strategize with advertising, I took two Google courses. The Google Ads Search Assessment certificate taught me to create, manage, and optimize search ad campaigns, focusing on effective ad copy, keyword selection, and performance analysis. The Drive Advertising Revenue with Google Ad Manager certificate provided insights into managing ad inventory, implementing programmatic strategies, and using advanced reporting tools to increase ad revenue.

MARKETING WRITING BOOTCAMP

I participated in MarketingProfs’s 13-class Marketing Writing Bootcamp to improve the impact of my writing. This series offered a lot of knowledge and practical applications to all areas of marketing content. By the end, my writing techniques were sharpened and it elevated my skills in writing content for emails, advertising campaigns, websites, social media captions, and blog posts.
